Help your child create artistic masterpieces during art class! Teachers will appreciate an extra set of hands to help out with passing out supplies, sorting markers, refilling paint, and answering questions from students.

Yearbook sales! Deadline to order is Feb. 23

Is your yearbook ordered? If not, don’t panic! The deadline to get your yearbook ordered has been extended to February 23rd.

Both a soft cover ($20) and a hard cover ($25) version are available. All books are personalized with student’s name & school photo on the cover.

Maraton is Almost Here!

Its an exciting time for our EHSI students! Our annual Reading Marathon is just a week away. Not only will the students be adventuring to great places through their readings, they will also be working together with their classmates to try to be the class with the most minutes read. This is PTO’s largest fundraiser of the year and something the kids look forward to.

Here is the summary of dates and events:

Sept. 26 Kick-off Assembly

Sat. Oct. 1 Naratón begins- start reading and tracking minutes on calendars!

Wed. Oct. 5 Spirit Day: Reading Rainbow Day (each grade wears a color of the rainbow) Kinder = RED 1st = ORANGE 2nd = YELLOW 3rd = GREEN 4th = Light Blue 5th = Dark Blue 6th = Purple

Wed. Oct. 12 Spirit Day: Crazy Sock Day- wear a pair of crazy or mismatched socks

Wed. Oct. 19 Spirit Day: EHSI Spirit Day- wear red and black, Eden Prairie or Eagle Heights spirit wear

Wed. Oct. 26 Spirit Day: Curl Up with a Good Book- wear pajamas or comfy

Mon. Oct. 31 Naratón ends. Collect your pledges!

Fri. Nov. 4 Students turn in Reading Calendars and pledges to their homeroom teachers by this date mid-November Celebration Assembly
